Strong First Half Propels Bearcats Past Saint Elizabeth (4-1)

The men's soccer team defeated the Eagles from Saint Elizabeth of New Jersey, 4-1, in a non-conference contest on Saturday morning at Randall's Island Field #10.

The Bearcats scored three first-half goals and received a brace from Jemali Zarnadze (four shots), along with solo goals from Taner Ceylan and Jaedon Seneca, for the home victory.

The Bearcats and Eagles each had 15 shots but the Bearcats were more efficient scoring.

Senior GK Kellen Sela collected eight saves in another solid effort in front of the goal.

The Bearcats will finish the non-conference portion of their schedule on Monday night with a 7:00 p.m. match at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.
