The women's volleyball team went on the road Tuesday evening and recorded a straight-set sweep over Medgar Evers College in a CUNYAC clash. With the result, the Bearcats improved to 5–1 in conference play.
Baruch controlled the match from start to finish, earning a dominant 25–8, 25–6, 25–3 victory.
Mariajose Ortiz-Marmolejo led the attack with six kills while hitting an impressive .600. Isabel Torres directed the offense with 14 assists and eight aces, while Jennifer Dong had a career night from the service line with nine aces.
The Bearcats will next host Saint Elizabeth University on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. for Dig Pink Night in the ARC Arena.
