WBB Wins, 79-60, Over Yeshiva

The women's basketball team won 79-60 over the Yeshiva University Maccabees on Sunday afternoon in the ARC Arena. 

The Bearcats jumped out to a fast start, scoring a season-high 21 points in the first quarter.

The squad maintained this intensity throughout the second quarter ending the quarter with a 36-25 lead over Yeshiva. Isabella Kostyal-Larrier led the team in scoring with 12 points, also giving the squad their most points at halftime this season.

They entered the third quarter by holding off Yeshiva's 6-0 scoring run and followed that up with 19-6 run to end the quarter.

The Bearcats shot an impressive 48.5 percent field goal percentage for the entire game and 50 percent three-point percentage. They shared the ball well, recording a season-high 26 assists for the team.

D'Andre McRae recorded a double-double this afternoon with 14 points and 12 rebounds, with team-highs of seven offensive and five defensive boards.

Baruch's next match up will be against the Pratt Institute at home in the ARC Arena on December 1 at 6:00 p.m.
