Baruch College Athletics

Kristin Walker of the women's volleyball team is the Baruch Athlete of the Month for October 2007.

Walker had an incredible month of October with a total of 566 assists, 67 service aces, 105 digs and 19 total blocks in helping the team record 12 victories.

During the month, she recorded outstanding matches, such as 48 assists and six digs against Farmingdale State.

The Arkansas native also recorded 44 assists and eight service aces in a victory against SUNY-IT.

She finished the month by being named the 2007 CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Year.
