Men’s basketball player Chris Beauchamp has been voted the Baruch Athlete of the Month for December 2011.
The honor, which is voted upon by the athletic department staff, is the second ever for Beauchamp. He previously won the monthly honor in November 2010.

** Shot 7-11, scoring 17 points, in a road win over CCNY (12/1) to begin the CUNYAC schedule.
** Knocked down five shots from the 3-point range, scoring 25 points and grabbing nine rebounds, in a home win over Purchase (12/10).
** Connected on 4-of-6 from the 3-point line, scoring 22 points, in a home win over Rutgers-Camden (12/12).
** Shot 8-of-14, scoring 22 points, in a tough holiday tournament game at Randolph Macon (12/29).
** For the month of December, Chris averaged 17.4 points, shooting 46 percent from the 3-point range.
