Women’s swimmer Julia Sung has been voted the Baruch Athlete of the Month for February 2012.
The honor, which is voted upon by the athletic department staff, is the second for Julia. She was previously honored during December 2010.

** For her solid regular season efforts in CUNYAC, she was named the Women’s Performer of the Year.
** Member of the Baruch relay team that won the 200 freestyle, 200 medley, 400 medley, and 400 freestyle relay events, in addition to the individual 100 and 200 yard backstroke events at the CUNYAC Finals (2/2-2/4).
** For her efforts at the Finals, she was named the CUNYAC Women’s Performer of the Meet.
** Member of the winning 200 freestyle relay team at the CUNYAC finals that also qualified for the first time for the ECAC Open Finals at Navy.
** At the Metro Finals at Rutgers (2/17-2/19), she finished 19th in the 200 individual medley. In addition, as a member of various relays teams, she finished 8th in the 200 freestyle, 10th in the 400 freestyle, 10th in 200 medley, and 13th in the 400 medley relay.
** Ended the season at the ECAC Open Finals at Navy as her 200 freestyle relay team finished in 12th place.
