The women’s tennis team swept John Jay College of Criminal Justice on Friday afternoon in a home match played at the York College tennis courts.

The Bearcats (3-1, 2-0 CUNYAC) won all six singles and three doubles to record the CUNYAC victory. 

With the exception of first singles (6-0, 6-3), the Bearcats won the other five single encounters with scores of 6-0, 6-0.

With the loss, John Jay drops to 0-4 overall and 0-1 in conference play. 

The Bearcats will return to action tomorrow, Saturday, September 20, with a non-conference road match at Farmingdale State University in Long Island.
