The women's tennis team recorded their fifth victory of the season by defeating William Paterson University, 7-2, on Monday afternoon in a non-conference match up played in Wayne, New Jersey.

The visiting Bearcats won two of three doubles and five of six singles to improve to 5-2 overall on the regular season schedule.

Monika Maiellano recorded a victory at #1 singles by defeating Joanna Jakobik,  6-2, 6-2.

The doubles partnership of Mariya Korobkova and Shalanda Graham were victorious at #3 doubles by defeating Delnaz Shalforoosh and Heidi Busch with the score of 8-2. 

The Bearcats will return to action on Wednesday with a re-scheduled conference match against the City College of New York.

First serve at the U.S. National Tennis Center is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
