#12 Men's Volleyball Splits in Saturday's Stevenson Quad

The 12th-ranked men’s volleyball team split their two matches on Saturday at the Stevenson Quad in Stevenson, Maryland.

With today’s results, the Bearcats finish 2-1 at this weekend’s Quad (def. Stevenson, 3-1, on Friday night), and run their overall record on the regular season to 9-4.

Against King’s College, which is an NAIA-affiliated school in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Bearcats lost in four sets (30-28, 34-32, 25-30, 22-30).

Pablo Oliveira led the attack again with 17 kills, while Danial Levent recorded 14 kills, 13 digs and five blocks. Radu Wyrwas was busy again with a game-high 49 assists.

Ratmir Gorelik came up big on the defensive end with 15 digs and Gabriel Rivera added 11 digs.

The Bearcats won their second match of the afternoon, defeating the College of Mount Saint Vincent in a sweep (30-19, 30-25, 30-22).

Gorelik led the offensive attack with eights kills, while Eryk Kowalski, Radu Wyrwas and Kirill Yagnetinskiy each notched six kills.

Jonathan Tuwaidan dished out 21 assists and Levi Rachmanov collected 12 digs.

The Bearcats will next begin the CUNYAC schedule on Tuesday, February 3, with a 6:00 pm home match in the ARC Arena against the City College of New York.
