Women's Tennis Drop Match to Brooklyn

The women’s tennis team lost the battle for second place by dropping an 8-1 contest to the Bridges of Brooklyn College in a CUNYAC match played Tuesday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York.

The Bridges (7-4, 6-1 CUNYAC) won all six singles and two of the three doubles encounters to record the road victory.

Shalanda Graham and Alina Bero won for the home team Baruch (5-4, 4-2 CUNYAC) at second doubles by posting an 8-3 victory.

The women’s tennis team will return to action on Friday, October 9, with a 3:30 pm road match at York College in Jamaica, New York.
