Women's Tennis Raise Record to 3-0 in CUNYAC, Defeat John Jay (9-0)

The women's tennis team defeated John Jay College of Criminal Justice, 9-0, in a rescheduled CUNYAC home match played on Monday night at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York.

The two teams were initially scheduled to play on Tuesday, September 18, but the match was postponed by rain.

The Bearcats (3-3, 3-0 CUNYAC) won all six singles and three doubles for the 9-0 shutout score.


Amandine Le Goupil-Maier won a rally at #1 singles with a tie-break score of 3-6, 7-5, 10-4.

Anna Komar and Marianna Kogan combined at #2 doubles for an 8-1 victory.

The Bearcats will return to action tomorrow, Tuesday, September 25, with a CUNYAC home contest against Medgar Evers College. First serve at the U.S. National Tennis Center is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
