CUNYAC Semifinal Women's Tennis Result: Brooklyn 5, Baruch 2

The women's tennis team suffered a 5-2 defeat to Brooklyn College in the CUNYAC Semifinals played on Tuesday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The Bearcats started on a high note winning two of the three doubles for a 2-1 lead, but the Bulldogs won four straight singles to walk off with the victory.

Per postseason rules, the match was halted upon the winning team earning their fifth point.

The Bearcats will next play for the first time a brief spring schedule in 2014 against Penn State-Abington (March 22), Brooklyn (March 29), and York (April 8).
