The Bearcats improved to 2-0 and won their first CUNYAC match of the season by defeating the Lightning of Lehman College, 9-0, on Tuesday in the Bronx.

Allie Jackson-Hing, the CUNYAC Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week, continued her strong start by winning her first singles (6-0, 6-0), and combined with Amandine Le Goupil-Maier at first doubles for an 8-0 score.

Jennafer Mukofsky won again at third singles (6-2, 6-2), while Elizavetta Glotova took sixth singles (6-0, 6-0).
