The women's tennis team lost a hard fought CUNYAC home contest to Brooklyn College on Tuesday afternoon at the Billie Jean U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The Bearcats (4-3, 3-1 CUNYAC) narrowly lost, 5-4, to suffer their second 1 point loss of the season.

The visiting Bulldogs stayed undefeated at 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the CUNYAC.

The Bearcats earned their lone doubles point in the third flight with Elizavetta Glotova and Lisa Kurner winning, 8-4.

In the single flights, Allie Jackson-Hing (#1, 6-0, 6-2), Amandine Le Goupil-Maier (#2, 6-7 (3-7), 6-4, 10-7) and Jessica Duleba (#6, 6-1, 6-2) all earned points against the Bulldogs.

The women's tennis team will return to action on Tuesday, October 1, with a 4:00 pm CUNYAC road contest at the College of Staten Island.
