Farmingdale State Defeats Bearcats (7-2)

The women's tennis team lost a 7-2 match to the Rams of Farmingdale State College on Thursday evening at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.

The Bearcats won their lone points at first doubles and singles.
Allie Jackson-Hing and Hayley Bester won at doubles, 8-5, to improve their record to 9-0 this season.

Jackson-Hing scored the second point winning in her first singles, 6-0, 6-3.

In other team news this week, Bester was named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week again.

The Bearcats will enjoy a brief break in their schedule and will resume action on Saturday, October 11, with a 12:00 pm CUNYAC contest at the U.S. National Tennis Center against rival Hunter College.
