Bearcats Fall to Brooklyn in Women's Tennis

The women's tennis team lost an 8-1 conference match to the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Tuesday afternoon in Brooklyn, New York.

The visiting Bearcats recorded their lone win at first doubles with Allie Jackson-Hing and Hayley Bester winning a tight contest, 8-5.

Brooklyn, the 2013 CUNYAC Runner Up, won the rest of the individual matches to record the home victory.

The women's tennis team will return to action on Friday, September 26, with a 3:30 pm home conference match at the U.S. National Tennis Center against John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

In other team news today, for the third time this season, Hayley Bester was named the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week.
