Bearcats Finish Regular Season Schedule With Tough Loss to CCNY (2-0)

The men's soccer team lost 2-0 to CCNY in a CUNYAC contest played on Wednesday afternoon at the soccer complex of Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey.

The visiting Bearcats out-shot the Beavers, 18-11, but could not score in their regular season finale to finish with an 8-7 overall record and 5-3 in the CUNYAC.

The team must now await the other remaining conference matches to be played to discover their exact seeding for the CUNYAC Championship Tournament that starts on Wednesday, October 28.

Alexander Marano led the team with four shot attempts, while Mohammad Hamdani, Dovlet Bayryyev, William Rosales and Adil Selimovic finished with two shots each in the tough loss.

The Beavers scored in the 13th minute and added an insurance goal in the 61st for the home victory.
