Women's Tennis Continues Undefeated Season, Defeat William Paterson (8-1)

The women's tennis team defeated the Pioneers of William Paterson University, 8-1, in a non-conference match played on Tuesday afternoon on the tennis courts of York College in Jamaica, New York.

The Bearcats won all three doubles and five of the six singles to stay undefeated with a perfect 8-0 record.

Daria Vasekina stayed undefeated individually by winning both her singles and doubles encounters.

Dzhessika Bishenkevich won her fifth singles, 8-3. Isabel Arias and Bishenkevich (#2), along with Hayley Bester and Brooke Severance (#3), each recorded 8-3 wins in doubles to complete the victory.

In other exciting team news today, Allie Jackson-Hing was named the Player of the Week, while Isabel Arias was honored for the fourth time as the Rookie of the Week in CUNYAC Tennis.
