Women's Tennis Remains Undefeated, Shutout Brooklyn (9-0)

The Bearcats posted a 9-0 shutout of the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Tuesday afternoon in Brooklyn, New York.

The Bearcats, who were the home team on the scoreboard on Brooklyn's tennis courts, won all three doubles and six singles for the win that keeps them undefeated on the regular season with a 4-0 record and 2-0 mark in the CUNY Athletic Conference (CUNYAC).

Allie Jackson-Hing won a tough encounter at first singles needing a tie-break with scores of 6-1, 1-6, 10-7. Daria Vasekina recorded a quick win at second singles (6-1, 6-0) and Hayley Bester won at third singles (6-3, 6-1).

Isabel Arias, the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, posted impressive scores again of 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles.

Jessica Zukhovich (#5, 6-3, 6-2) and Diana Fedorkova (#6, 6-0, 6-2) helped complete the shutout.

Dzhessika Bishenkevich and Brooke Severance combined at third doubles to win, 8-2. They are also now 4-0 on the season at third doubles.
