The women's tennis team started their fall schedule on a positive note with an 8-1 win against the Lightning of Lehman College on Saturday in the Bronx, New York.

Allie Jackson-Hing and Daria Vasekina each won at the top two singles with 6-0, 6-0 scores each, while Hayley Bester needed a tie-breaker to win 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 at third singles.

Diana Fedorkova also recorded a 6-0, 6-0 score at sixth singles.
