The No. 3 ranked Juniata College men's volleyball team earned a straight-sets victory over the Bearcats on Saturday, winning 25-18, 25-17, 25-21 at the Kean Clash, a neutral-site event hosted at Kean University in Union, New Jersey.

Juniata was efficient offensively throughout the match, hitting .400 as a team and totaling 39 kills in the win. The opening set was tightly contested early, with the teams knotted at 13-13, before Juniata pulled away down the stretch to take the set, 25-18. 

The Bearcats showed resilience in the third set, battling point-for-point and forcing another tie at 19-19. However, Juniata closed strong, scoring six of the final eight points to secure the 25-21 win.

Peter Gavroff paced the Bearcats' offense with 11 kills, while Ari Osmanaj guided the attack with 12 assists. Felix Baier led Juniata with eight kills in the victory.

The Bearcats will look to bounce back when they return home on Tuesday, hosting No. 12 ranked SUNY New Paltz in a 7:00 p.m. matchup.
