Box Score vs. Polytechnic

The men’s volleyball team ended a four-match losing streak on Thursday night in the ARC Arena with a pair of 3-0 victories against York and Polytechnic.

Against York, Eryk Kowalski led the way with eight kills, while Kirill Yagnetinskiy and Danial Levent had seven kills each. Radu Wyrwas led the overall offensive attack with 22 assists, while Jonathan Tuwaidan had 17 assists.

The conference victory helps the team raise their record to 7-0 in the CUNY Athletic Conference Standings.

The Bearcats ended the evening with a non-conference victory against Polytechnic Institute of NYU. Seven different players notched at least five kills in the victory.

Sam Park was tops with eight kills in his finest match of the season. Wyrwas had 25 assists, while Levi Rachmanov collected 15 total digs.

The Bearcats will next compete on Saturday morning at the CUNYAC multi-match hosted by Hunter College. They will have conference matches against Hunter (11:00 am ) and CCNY (1:00 pm).
