The men’s volleyball team finished their CUNYAC regular season schedule with a 3-0 (30-19, 30-10, 30-18) sweep of Lehman College on Senior Night in the ARC Arena.

With the victory, the Bearcats raise their record to 28-9 and a perfect 14-0 in the conference to officially win the regular season championship.
 
In addition, the team also clinches an automatic berth into the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) Championship Tournament, which is scheduled for April 3-5 at M.I.T. in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The winner of this regional tournament will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Final Four on April 17-18 at Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey.

The Bearcats have three regular season non-conference matches remaining and need just one more win to tie the team record for most wins in a season with 29 (2006 is team record, 29-7).

Danial Levent, the CUNYAC Player of the Week, continued his solid play on Senior Night in front of family and friends with 16 kills and five total blocks. Senior Levi Rachmanov also saw plenty of action in front of family and friends to finish with six kills and five total digs.

The Bearcats will return to action on Friday with a 4:00 pm non-conference home match in the ARC Arena against SUNY-IT.
