Men's Volleyball vs Rivier BOX SCORE

The men’s volleyball team split their two matches on Sunday at the Rivier Tri-Match in Nashua, New Hampshire.

The Bearcats (3-1) began the day by defeating Medaille College of Buffalo (2-2) in four sets with the scores of 17-30, 30-24, 30-22, 30-27.

Pablo Oliveira and Eryk Kowalski led the way with 13 kills each, while Ratmir Gorelik had 10 kills. Radu Wyrwas dished out 40 assists and collected 16 digs on the defensive end.

In the second match, the Bearcats suffered their first loss as Rivier earned the victory by sweeping with scores of 30-22, 30-26, 30-24.

Oliveira led again with 12 kills and Gorelik added 10 kills in the tough loss. Kowalski contributed seven kills with a hitting percentage of .636. Wyrwas was busy again leading the attack with 31 assists and two service aces.

The men’s volleyball team will return to action on Friday, January 22, by competing at the SUNY-New Paltz Tournament in New Paltz, New York.
