The #4-ranked men’s volleyball team swept the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College in three (30-11, 30-13, 30-18) in a CUNYAC road match on Thursday night in Brooklyn.

The visiting Bearcats (14-2, 4-0 CUNYAC) dominated with a 45-18 kill advantage by hitting .464, while Brooklyn hit .067.

Pablo Oliveira (.647, 9 service aces) and Jonathan Tuwaidan (.435) each notched 14 kills, while Kirill Yagnetinskiy (.556) and Eryk Kowalski (.444) finished with six kills each.

Ivan Andujar led the offensive effort with 35 assists and eight total service aces.

Rogelio Griffith led the newly nicknamed Bulldogs of Brooklyn College (1-5, 1-4 CUNYAC) with six skills.

The men’s volleyball team will enjoy a brief schedule break and return to action next Thursday, February 18, with a pair of CUNYAC matches against York College in Jamaica, New York.

The first match will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by the second match at 7:30 pm.
