The #4 men's volleyball team won all three home matches on Saturday afternoon in a Quad.

The Bearcats began the day against #8-ranked Philadelphia Biblical to post a 30-28, 30-24, 30-22 sweep.

Pablo Oliveira and Sequiel Sanchez led the attack with 10 kills each, while Ivan Andujar dished out 35 assists in the opening match victory.

Justin Brubaker led Philadelphia Biblical with 17 kills in the loss.

In the second home match against E.I.V.A. member Sacred Heart, the Bearcats jumped out to a 2-0 lead with scores of 30-28 and 30-23, but Sacred Heart rallied by winning the next two sets (30-23, 32-30) to even the match. Baruch won the fifth-set tie-breaker, 15-12.

Santos Rivera led the way with 22 kills and 15 digs, while Eryk Kowalski totaled 13 kills. Andujar had another busy match with 61 assists.

In the final match of the day against Newbury College, the Bearcats swept the Nighthawks by the scores of 30-25, 30-24, 33-31.

Kowalski (13 digs, six block assists), Oliveira (9 kills, 7 digs), and Sanchez (7 kills, 11 digs) led offensively to help the Bearcats to the sweep.

The men's volleyball team will return to a busy stretch of CUNYAC matches, beginning on Tuesday with a 6:00 pm home match against City Tech.
