The #15-ranked men’s volleyball team lost in three sets to #6-ranked Philadelphia Biblical University in a non-conference match on Thursday night in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

The visiting Bearcats (1-4) lost by competitive scores of 30-28, 26-24 and 25-21.

Pablo Oliveira led the way with 16 kills (.444), while Jesus Echevarria dished out 35 assists and collected nine total digs. Eryk Kowalski also had a solid match with 10 kills and eight total digs.

Justin Brubaker led Philadelphia Biblical (3-1) with 20 kills and 10 total digs.

The men’s volleyball team will return to action on Saturday by competing at the Rutgers-Newark Tournament in Newark, New Jersey. The Bearcats will play #10-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology (2:00 pm) and #5-ranked Rivier (4:00pm) in the first day of the tournament action.
