The men's volleyball team swept the Lightning of Lehman College on Thursday evening in the Bronx with scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-20.  

Jack McKee, who was named the CUNYAC Player of the Week on Monday for the third time, led the visiting Bearcats (10-4, 5-0 CUNYAC) with 14 kills by hitting .591 with five blocks and three aces.

Man Wai Choi had a career-best night with eight kills by hitting .700 on the attacking end, while totaling 12 digs on defense.

Scott Standring dished out 31 assists and Bryan Fong collected five kills and digs each in the road victory.

The Bearcats, who are ranked #13 this week in the A.V.C.A. Top 15 Coaches Poll, took control from the start and finished hitting .403 with 39 kills.

Lehman struggled hitting .060 with 19 kills. Miguel Gallardo and Jaleel Lino led their team with seven kills each.

The Bearcats will travel to Springfield, Massachusetts to compete in a tri-match on Saturday hosted by the Springfield College Pride. They will play the Wentworth Institute of Technology at 12:00pm, followed by a 2:00 pm match against the #3-ranked Pride.
