The No. 10 ranked men's volleyball team lost to the No. 3 Hawks from the State University of New York at New Paltz on Thursday evening in New Paltz, New York.

The Hawks won with scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-22 by hitting .348 with 47 total kills compared to .195 with 28 kills by the visiting Bearcats (19-7).  

Brady Ambro led the team this evening with eight kills (.375), four digs and two blocks. Yanni Malo was next best with seven kills and two blocks.

Brian Coniglio had 24 assists, five digs and one ace.

Andy Fishman led the Hawks (22-3) with 15 kills in the home win.

The Bearcats will travel this weekend upstate to Elmira, New York to compete in the Elmira Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

They have matches scheduled on Friday against SUNY-IT at 2:00 pm and the hosts Elmira at 4:30 pm.
