The men's volleyball team won their two matches on Presidents Day at the CUNYAC Multi-Match hosted by Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York.

The Bearcats swept the Cougars of Medgar Evers with scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-16 by hitting .301 with 33 total kills.

Stephen Roach led the attack with 10 kills, eight digs, three aces and two blocks. Rookie Edward Grinberg was busy with 17 assists and eight digs.

Against York, the visiting Bearcats swept again with scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-14. Nicholas Godino did the damage with 17 kills and seven digs, while Roach had seven kills and Grinberg 23 assists.

Overall against York, the team finished hitting .300 with 34 total kills.

The Bearcats will return home for a season-high four match home stand starting on Thursday, February 22, at 7:30 p.m. against the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
