CUNYAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Jade Schonfeld, Hunter (Gr., Glastonbury, Conn.)
Schonfeld did not drop a set as the Hawks remained unbeaten with conference wins against Albertus Magnus and John Jay. Against John Jay she was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 2 singles and teamed with Isabella Tchij for a 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles. Wednesday against the Falcons, Schonfeld and Tchij were 6-0 winners at No. 1 doubles and a 6-0, 6-0 victor at No. 3 singles.
CUNYAC Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Isabella Tchij, Hunter (Fr., Brooklyn, N.Y.)
In a 2-0 week for the Hawks, Tchij went 4-0 in singles and doubles play. After a 6-0 doubles win against Albertus Magnus, she was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 1 singles Wednesday. In a 7-0 win against John Jay, Tchij won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and 6-0 at first doubles.
CUNYAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Aishika Yadav, Baruch (Jr., Fresh Meadows, N.Y.)
In Baruch's setback to Farmingdale State Tuesday, Yadav registered a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles and teamed with Maria Calvo Prado for a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles.
