Veronica Ganzi is the Baruch Athlete of the Month for February 2017.

Ganzi had an excellent month, averaging 23.3 points per game, 7.5 rebounds, and shot 46 percent from the field. She also helped her team to a 3-1 record during the month of February.

This is the first monthly honor for the senior captain from Glendale, New York.

Highlights

Shot 9-of-17, scoring 25 points and snatching eight rebounds, against Hunter College (2/7).
Shot 11-of-21 from the field, with a .524 shooting percentage, which included shooting 3-of-6 from the 3pt line to scored 32 points and nine rebounds against Medgar Evers (2/10).
Double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds against John Jay on Senior Night (2/13).
Shot 19-of-22 from the free throw line during the month of February.
